Frequently asked questions

Is the Twitter video downloader free?

Yes. TTGet is completely free, with no limit on how many videos you save.

Does it work now that Twitter is called X?

Yes. Twitter was renamed X, but the posts are the same. Paste a link from x.com or twitter.com and TTGet handles both.

Can I save GIFs from X?

Yes. X stores GIFs as short videos, so TTGet saves them as MP4 files that play on any phone or computer.

Why doesn’t my X link work?

The post may come from a protected account, be deleted, or need a login to view. Check that it opens in a private browser window without logging in, then try again.

Is it legal to download Twitter videos?

Saving for personal use is generally fine, but the content belongs to its creator. Don’t re-upload or use it commercially without permission. See our disclaimer.
