How to download TikTok photos and slideshows

Copy the post link. In the TikTok app, open the photo post, tap Share, then Copy link. In Douyin, tap 分享 (Share), then 复制链接 (Copy link); the whole share text is fine.
Paste it into TTGet. Paste the link into the box at the top of this page and press Download.
Save the photos. After a few seconds every photo of the post appears in its own row, in the order of the slideshow. Tap Photo No Watermark ver (1) next to a photo to save it.

A valid link is submitted as soon as you paste it, so you often don’t need to press anything. The page works for public posts only: if a post doesn’t show in a private browser window without logging in, TTGet can’t read it either.

Which links work?

Photo posts (also called slideshows, photo mode or carousels on TikTok, and 图文 notes on Douyin) use the same links as videos. TTGet accepts:

TikTok photo links tiktok.com/@<user>/photo/<id>, copied from the address bar on tiktok.com.
TikTok short links vm.tiktok.com/…, vt.tiktok.com/… and tiktok.com/t/…, which is what Copy link in the app gives you.
Douyin short links v.douyin.com/…, alone or inside the share text Douyin copies, with its Chinese title and hashtags.
Douyin note links douyin.com/note/<id> from douyin.com, and iesdouyin.com/share/note/<id> or /share/slides/<id>, the address a short link turns into in a browser.
A photo post opened as a video. Some apps share a slideshow with a /video/ link. That is fine: TTGet looks at the post itself and lists its photos.

A link has to point to one post. A profile, a sound page, a search or a live stream has no photos to save, so open the post itself and copy its link.

What you get from a photo post

The result has one row per item, each with its own buttons. The button names come from our server and stay in English in every language, so here is what they mean:

Audio Only comes first when the post has music. It saves the background sound of the slideshow, usually as an MP3 file. A photo post has no video of its own, so this is the only file for the whole post.
Cover is the cover image the post shows in feeds.
One row for each photo, in the order of the slideshow. A post with 12 photos gives 12 rows, so you can save just the ones you want.
Photo No Watermark ver (1), ver (2) … are the same photo, not different photos. TikTok and Douyin keep each picture in several copies, on different servers or in another file format (usually WebP or JPEG). Take ver (1); if it doesn’t open, or your device can’t open that format, try the next one.
Photo + Watermark ver (n) appears on some posts: the copy with the TikTok or Douyin logo, as the app saves it.
Live Photo Video (and sometimes Live Photo Video HD ⭐️) appears under a photo that moves. It saves the moving clip of that photo as an MP4 video.

TTGet passes on the files TikTok and Douyin serve, without re-compressing them, so the size is the one the platform stores. The buttons depend on the post: an old post or a post read through a backup source may offer fewer copies and no Photo + Watermark or Live Photo Video buttons.

There is no “download all” button. Each photo is saved with its own button, one after another. On a computer that takes a few clicks; on a phone, see the tips below. If you need the photos of several posts, you can paste up to 5 links at once and each post gets its own result.

Live Photos are saved as a video and a still, not as an iPhone Live Photo. Save the photo and its Live Photo Video separately if you want both.

Download TikTok photos on iPhone

Open ttget.com in Safari, paste the link and tap Photo No Watermark ver (1) next to the photo you want. The picture opens in a new tab: press and hold it and choose Save to Photos (or Add to Photos). Go back to the first tab for the next photo.

For Live Photo Video and Audio Only, Safari asks whether to download the file; tap Download and it goes to the Files app, in the Downloads folder. When a Save to Photos button appears next to a video link, it saves the clip straight to Photos through the share sheet; it is not offered for photos.

If you opened ttget.com from inside TikTok or Douyin, switch to Safari: the in-app browser is the least reliable place to save a file.

Download TikTok photos on Android

Open ttget.com in Chrome, paste the link and tap the photo’s button. If Chrome shows the picture instead of saving it, press and hold it and choose Download image. Photos and videos end up in the Downloads folder and in your gallery app. More tips are in our how-to guide.

Download TikTok photos on a computer

Copy the post’s address from tiktok.com or douyin.com, or use a link someone sent you, and paste it into the box above. Each photo opens in a new tab; right-click it and choose Save image as. A WebP file opens in every current browser; if an older photo app can’t open it, take the other ver button, which is often a JPEG.

Photo post not working? Common problems

The post is private, deleted or hidden in your region. Open the link in a private window. If the post doesn’t show there, TTGet can’t save it either.
The link is not a post. Profiles, sound pages and searches have no photos. Copy the link of the post itself.
A photo button doesn’t open. Try the next ver button for the same photo: it is another copy of it.
The photo opens in a tab instead of downloading. That is normal for pictures. Press and hold it (phone) or right-click it (computer) to save it.
No Audio Only button. The post has no music, or TikTok or Douyin did not send a sound for it.
No Live Photo Video button. The photo is a still picture, or the source that answered didn’t include the clip. Try again later.
An error appears for a public post. TikTok or Douyin may be slowing our server down for a moment. Tap Try again in the message, or wait a few minutes.
“Security check failed”. TTGet uses a Cloudflare check to keep bots out. Reload the page and try again.
The buttons stopped working. Download links are valid for a short time only. If the page was open for a while, paste the link again.

Frequently asked questions

Is the TikTok photo downloader free?

Yes. TTGet is free, with no limit on how many posts you save, and no app or account.

Can I download all photos of a slideshow at once?

Not with one button. Every photo has its own row and button, in the order of the slideshow, so you save them one by one and can skip the ones you don’t need.

Are the photos without watermark?

Yes. Photo No Watermark buttons give the picture without the TikTok or Douyin logo. Some posts also offer Photo + Watermark, the copy with the logo.

Why are there several “Photo No Watermark ver” buttons for one photo?

They are copies of the same photo on different servers or in another format, such as WebP or JPEG. If ver (1) doesn’t open, try ver (2).

Can I save the music of a slideshow?

Yes, when the post has music: press Audio Only, usually an MP3 file. It is the first row of the result.

Can I save Live Photos?

Yes, as a short MP4 video with Live Photo Video under the photo that moves. It is not saved as an iPhone Live Photo; save the still photo separately if you want it too.

Does it work with Douyin photo posts?

Yes. Paste the Douyin share text, a v.douyin.com link or a douyin.com/note/… link. Douyin notes give the same buttons as TikTok photo posts. For Douyin videos, see the Douyin downloader.

Can I turn a TikTok slideshow into a video?

No. TTGet saves the photos and the music the post is made of; it doesn’t build a video from them.

Why doesn’t my link work?

The post may be private, deleted or not available in your region, or the link may be a profile or sound page. Check that the post opens in a private browser window, then try again. See the common problems above.

Is it legal to download TikTok photos?

Saving for personal use is generally fine, but the photos belong to their creator. Don’t re-upload or use them commercially without permission. See our disclaimer.
